World No.10 Julia Goerges, number one seed of the "MOSCOW RIVER CUP presented by INGRAD", commented on her last match of the tournament, which he lost to young Serbian player Olga Danilovic.
Jule: Today was not one of my best matches this season, but I tried to give everything what I had in my body today and really tried to play the way I was capable of playing, but obviously she was way more solid than I was today. It was not really my day today but I can say that I gave it all.
I would love to be back to Moscow. Today I felt a lot of support. I know it's 11 a.m. on the work day, but I really appreciated the support and I felt very welcome and hopefully I will be back in October.
I can only say a lot of positive things about "MOSCOW RIVER CUP presented by INGRAD". It's the first edition of the tournament and it's not easy to build such an event out of nothing. The organisers did a terrific job and overall I felt very good and welcome here. I'm looking forward to see how it will be next year.
Yesterday I visited the Red Square for the first time during my afternoon off. It was a very nice day for me, very different, very rare. The organisers helped me to set up a nice tour to get some history about Moscow and get a nice coffee with my team.
