"We would like to bring something new to the tennis life of Russia and Moscow. The WTA tournament on
the open clay courts will be held in our country for the first time. This is a very important for the development of Russian tennis"
Alexander Ostrovsky
Tournament Director, Member of the Board of
Directors of the tournament
"Moscow is the only city in the world that has the right to host two tennis tournaments. In my opinion,
this confirms that Russian tennis is in a strong position. The possibility of holding the third tournament in
Russia gives a great motivation for the development of this sport in our country. No doubt, this is the
merit of our players, who created such atmosphere by their victories."

Alexei Selivanenko
Vice President of the Russian Tennis Federation, Member of the Directorial Board International Tennis
"This is an incredible opportunity to play in front of Russian fans, in front of their family and friends. A
new opportunity for young tennis players to start their professional path from this tournament. Tennis
on clay is always very interesting and spectacular. The reputation of Russian tournaments is on a very
high level, many tennis players are happy come to our country. And most importantly, the attitude
towards the players, we never had any problems with this, we are very hospitable. And I'm sure that organizers of the tournament will conduct a very good and high-quality work and players will be very
pleased to be in Moscow. I hope that we will be lucky with the weather, because the place is unique and
beautiful. I think many players will be interested. Everyone have the associations with the current
Russian tournaments in Moscow and St. Petersburg: cold, snow, Red Square, etc., and here is absolutely another Russia, another Moscow. I think many players are curious to show good tennis and win this first tournament. This is a good opportunity to come and to see Russia from the other side."
